The Thomson Reuters Venture Capital Index (TRVCI) is a venture capital replication index which uses a combination of liquid, publicly traded securities to replicate the gross performance (i.e., before fund fees) of the U.S. venture capital industry.
TRVCI is not an investable index and is used solely for illustrative purposes. It includes investments which match the general characteristics of investment opportunities planned to be offered on Evident.
S&P 500 Total Return Index as sourced from Yahoo Finance. S&P 500 TR Index data are annual compounded return calculations which are time weighted measures and are shown for reference and directional purposes only.
Due to the fundamental differences between the two calculations, direct comparison of IRRs to time weighted returns is not recommended. The chart illustrates the net growth of a hypothetical initial investment in the referenced indexes on December 31, 1999.
Index data does not include the effect of Evident's trading or asset management fees, or other fees which may be levied and would decrease net returns.
